Schiavo: The Verdict Is In And GOP IS Guilty

Terri Schiavo's autopsy reveals that there was no way she was ever coming back to lead a normal life. This finding exposes the GOP's cruel, invasive charade as a the dishonest bullying that it truly was. "Dr." Bill Frist should have his license revoked for incorrectly diagnosing her long distance. If not actual medical malpractice, it was certainly political malpractice.

I think the public has been mislead on this issue. There is a difference between brain dead, comatose, and lock down syndrome. Sciavo deteriated after they ended her physical therapy. She was eating by spoon before the therapy stopped. Disabled people are now in danger more than ever. They can be starved to death without a living will.

This woman's brain was mush.
It was cruel and SELFISH to try to keep her alive - and obscene for that matter.

All one has to ask Sean Hannity, Bill Frist or Jeb Bush is how badly THEY'D want to live like Terri S. and you'd have your answer.

Ms. Schiavo's parents were never going to be able to 'care' for her. She was in a hospice already..., not in their home, not without 24 hr. nursing. They are elderly people who might soon be needing care themselves.
What selfish people!
This was all about their wanting to avoid inevitable loss.
The initial damage to T.S brain might not have been as bad and it ultimately became, but had she had her wishes respected...she wouldn't have suffered the cruelty of such undignified deterioration.
A majority of us, DON'T want to live like that.
M. Schiavo's assertions are not only his to make, but a safe bet to assume from the side of empathy.
Life...sometimes it's cruel to prolong it.
Sometimes death isn't the worst that can happen.
It's certainly inevitable for all of us.
Terri is free of her earthly bind.
Her parents just won't let go. They aren't very healthy either in their commitment to the abstract, rather then Terri's reality.
They were making her ultimate death, excruciatingly slow and torturous.
And what...just what was the point in it?
If I were M. Schiavo, I would threaten Jeb Bush with a big, fat, slander suit. JB is intimating, not too subltely, that M. Schiavo is a criminal and that's not right for Bush to do.
MS would be well in his rights to sue, if for no other reason than to shut Bush the hell up!
