Yes, I thought it was really powerful too. It highlights the sheer arrogance of the letter-writer, and the ex-gay movement as a whole.
I was gay, so I know you must be just as messed up as me. I love you, even though I've never met you, and unlike any of the people you actually share your life with.

I have a question maybe someone can comment back and answer it for me. If LOVE is what drives all then wouldn't there be some circumstances as an ex gay. My whole thing and which is what i think is the problem SEX is truly not a straight or gay or Bi thing. PEOPLE in general are aroused or fall in love and decide to elevate it to sex with whomever they choose. The problem I hate to see is the labeling of a person other than their name. That is truly what is killing us in all aspects. I AM THAT I AM and that is all there is to it for everyone. So my question is this why do we feel we have to label everything so that we can communicate about a person? Imagine if instead of terrorist we made a list and said OSAMA etc etc etc and went down are people who are not trying to benefit us all. Or instead of WHITE guy this BLACK guy that Male This Female that. JESSICA is a BITCH Tyrone is not a criminal Jack is an Idiot Lisa has a girlfriend its all about the way we communicate that makes all this hard for us. THINGS have labels that Human Beings do not just names. well i kind of went into a whole lot of other things but sorry you get the point ANONYMOUS S.R.
