New reports reveal that the government's disaster chief Michael Brown waited until hours after Hurricane Katrina had already struck the Gulf Coast before asking his boss to dispatch 1,000 Homeland Security workers to support rescuers in the region - and gave them two days to arrive, according to internal documents.
Is there any doubt that Brown should resign or be sacked for incompetence? The joke is that Bush or Homeland Security head Mike Chertoff would wield the ax, even though both also failed America during this crisis. Maybe they all should step down?

Heads will never roll because Bush would then have to admit that mistakes occured and he is incabable of doing that.
Yes, and they were given 48 hours so that they could BE TRAINED on how to handle the disaster. This was on the Randi Rhodes show today on Air America radio. UNBELIEVABLE!!
