I was just about to kick my 2-cup a day coffee habit, when a new study came out saying Joe was good for the liver.
Coffee and tea may reduce the risk of serious liver damage in people who drink too much alcohol, are overweight or have too much iron in the blood, researchers reported yesterday. The study of nearly 10,000 people showed that those who drank more than two cups of coffee or tea per day developed chronic liver disease at half the rate of those who drank less than one cup each day.
If you look closely at the ubiquitous Starbuck's Mermaid, you can see she is smiling today.

Less coffee more sleep, you will become more charming...
I'd hardly call 2 cups a day a "habit" Wayne, but you would be better off with tea, especially green tea. If you hate the taste of green tea, which is loaded with anti-oxidants, you can buy green tea extract and put a few droppers full in a glass of cold water and guzzle it down. You get the benefits without the constant taste of grass clippings in your mouth (smile). Gary (NJ)

Coffee = good.
No coffee = not good.
Trust me, I've tried. I gave up meat and sugar, but coffee remains my morning vice of choice. .
