Britain's showbiz royalty - Elton John and David Furnish - exchanged vows and diamond wedding bands during a ceremony that capped the first week of legalized civil unions in the United Kingdom.

Opting to use the 17th century Town Hall where Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles got married in April, John and Furnish sealed their union with a kiss before facing hundreds of photographers and fans on the cobbled streets outside

Come on America, let's catch up to the rest of the world! I'm tired of our race to the bottom where we increasingly have more in common with backwards nations. Let's start living up to our lofty creed of freedom and liberty.

As I understand the custom, when a straight knight (e.g. Sir Something-or-other) marries, his spouse is given the honorary title of "Lady Something-or-other." I also understand that sex descrimination is illegal in the UK. So.... does Mr. Furnish now become "Lord Elton?" or Lord David, or what? Certainly not "Lady Elton," but you never know what the Brits will do.

Glynn, I'm sure in gay circles David will be referred to as "Lady Elton", just to be campy. I just find it all very remarkable, all the rights and privileges of marriage and come January 1, 2006, gay British couples will have the right to adopt children. I wonder if David took Elton's last name, its now permissible under the new law there. I think is all pretty amazing. Congratulations to them both and many happy years of "married" life.

I was an excellent credit咖啡 staff.Many well-known in the credit 徵信社company to work, and excellent credit 徵信performance.
I love this job;I work brought endless fun.I hope that the formal減肥I appreciated the boss .I hope to continue to work in the credit徵信.
I work seriously,Peaceful coexistence with colleagues.The company has no particular request, 徵信社I can only hope that the wisdom I 燈光音響play.
