It has been a long struggle for equal rights for gay people in Britain, but now, in the 21st century, we have real civil rights, tolerance and final acceptance of our lives.

Elton John is GOD. What a wonderful performer and a better human being. The only thing is - who would fuck him? He's no looker.
There is a special place in my heart for Sir Elton John. I wish him and David much happiness. They have certainly brought that to millions of others. I will note here, he continues support for among many other charities, The Matthew Shepard Foundation. He recorded "American Triangle" in my neighborhood and because of the tears of my friend Danny at the song, gave Danny the hand written lyrics to the song about Matt's deadly encounter in October.
I have loved Sir E. since I first saw him live at Dodger's Stadium when I was a teen. Now I know he and I have only two degrees of separation between us. He has a charitable heart and sensitivity we need so much more of in this world. God's love is on him and David. And on the rest of the world with his beautiful music.

President Clinton congratulated the couple and said he wished there were more people in the world like Sir Elton.
That's a disconcerting statement. Coming from an adulterer who signed a federal bill to deny gay couples the ability to marry.
