The Associate Press reports that Pat Robertson suggested Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon's stroke was divine punishment for "dividing God's land." God considers this land to be his," Robertson said on his TV program The 700 Club.
"You read the Bible and he says 'This is my land,' and for any prime minister of Israel who decides he is going to carve it up and give it away, God says, 'No, this is mine.' Sharon "was dividing God's land and I would say woe unto any prime minister of Israel who takes a similar course to appease the European Union, the United Nations, or the United States of America."
In Robertson's broadcast from his Christian Broadcasting Network in Virginia Beach, the evangelist said he had personally prayed about a year ago with Sharon. If anything, God punished Sharon for being stupid enough to pray with such an ass crack.
In this, there is a lesson for Jews who are stupid and naive enough to cultivate evangelical "support" for Israel: A group that only likes you so Jesus will return in the Rapture and kill you is not a friend.
Let us hope Sharon recovers. Lately, he was making tough choices and moving Israel and the Palestinians closer towards peace. Now that the corrupt terrorist Arafat is dead, Sharon was able to move the peace process forward. However, if he recovers, he should reevaluate his "friends" in America who pray for Israeli civil war and destruction to live out their psychotic biblical fantasies.

I think robertson is right, it's in the bible. The Virgin Mary said, "so I told my Son the cawpenta, better you should go into real estate, buy some nice caves with a few olive trees, maybe a two goat garage and Oy if you should eva carve them up, your fatha will have a stroke; I mean GIVE someone a stroke."

Pat Robertson is a disgrace to sincere Christians. First of all, how can he determine that Isreal is God's land? I really put into question anyone's credibility who claims to speak for God or to know God's word. Secondly, a stroke is lack of bloodflow to parts of the brain brought about by narrowing of arteries due to aging or other factors. It is common in older individuals or others with either genetic or environmental factors. It is not punishment from God as claimed by Robertson. When God finally punishes Pat, who will make the determination that God in fact did punish Pat?

Between Les Kinsolving at Pat Robertson, they are all kinds of religious insanity.
A boy a liked very much, didn't make to 20 years of age. He was the brother of a friend of mine. Israeli youngsters are patriotic and service in their military is mandatory. My friend and all of her siblings, save the youngest (who is only seven years old) had survived... Until LIOR VISHINSKY. Lior, was so handsome. His mother, one of the most popular and talented singers in Israel.
The supply truck he was riding in with several other soldiers was blown up in the Gaza. He and four other young men died. The last time Lior had come to the US to visit his sister, he was sixteen at the time. Grown to and looking like a young man finally.
Peace is fragile ANYWHERE in this world. When PR opens his filthy mouth, his two faces appear. He's never lost anything or anyone in the region and he knows he won't, so he speaks with no authority but his own.
For Lior...and all the other young lions of that region who have died...Lior was serving in an established army. It's SO hard to know when one will be betrayed by so called treaties and truces.
Our own President kisses up to the House of Saud...POST 9/11. These are our eternal friends, after all.(well, HIS, anyway. Nobody in Bush's family has died violently from a terrorist or anyone else.) Who are merely searching for Israel's, or our own backs... a space for another knife.
I don't not fear God. Men like Robertson, or that nutcase in Iran...that's another story.
I want all this shit to be OVER before Lior's baby sister is of age to join the army. And that's only in ten years!
She misses her big brother, and Pat Robertson, who doesn't LIVE in that area wouldn't understand what they are up against.
It comes down to this, peace OR protection...sometimes has to come by any means necessary. Even if it took Lior...for the lives of the rest of his family...that's what Lior was there for. Sharon knew it...NOT P. Robertson.
