Senate Democrats on Monday blocked an immediate vote on a call by Senator Russell D. Feingold to censure President Bush for his eavesdropping program.
Way to go Dems...one more missed opportunity.

Wayne,
Today's National Review is calling him "Feing GOLD for the republicans. (And did you see how he actually, courageously, literally FLED the senate after calling for this?)
If liberalism is your calling, you HAVE to keep working to get a coherent platform for 2006, or you are at best facing the re-election of a republican house/senate majority, Wayne.
George W. Bush isn't running for anything any more...do what you think you must (and you've said here that impeachment of him isn't necessarily a good thing for our nation and the democrats) but you've got to plan for the future. Otherwise the electorate will see that you have nothing of leadership to offer our nation.

The republicans have nothing to offer but corruption, greed, bigotry and war; but you're right the Dems are vaginal beyond belief. But they WILL get congress back in Nov.

Kurt, I completely disagree with you. Strategically-speaking, Democrats should keep their mouths shut and say as little as possible. You say that Bush isn't running in 2006. Oh yes he is, sir! The midterms will esentially serve as a referendum on him, and as long as that's where the focus stays, Democrats should do quite well.
