According to an exciting new Washington Post-ABC poll, the Democrats are poised to take control of Congress and everyone hates the Republicans. Well, all I can say is: "IT IS ABOUT TIME." At least we learned that the average time it takes for the American public to get their heads out of their arses is 6 years.
Look for the GOP to use gays, immigrants and even another war to distract the American public. If they rely on their policies, they will continue to sink. A worn out smoke and mirrors routine is all they have, but the public is finally tired of coughing and is suffering from smoke inhalation.

It took the Democrats several decades to get so corrupted from power that they were booted out in 1994. It took the GOP a mere 12 years before they will be booted out for gross corruption and negligence. Which party has the better 'values'? I wonder if the chimp will bomb iran or create another terrorist attack right before the elections? Nothing is too evil for these caluminous bastards. Hopefully the american electorate wont be DUMB enough to fall for it AGAIN! B. Queer

That is good news! The Democrats have not been that great on the gay front, but they are certainly better than the Republicans.

I'll hope for the best, but my opinion of the Dems is that they "never miss an opportunity to miss an opportunity". Meanwhile, the public's ability to distinguish facts from propaganda and intelligent argument from agitprop has fallen to the moron level.
On the other hand, the attempt to stir up a backlash by harping on the Brown Peril seems to be backfiring badly. The GOP has been remarkably deft up 'til now at talking out of both sides of their mouths about illegal immigration. On the one hand, their business supporters want the next best thing to slavery (and they get it); on the other hand, the boobs get crypto-racist crocodile tears about how the GOP would love to shut the border and kick out the Mex'kins--but those accursed libruls won't let 'em. Hispanic voters get sincere-sounding flattery about their salt-of-the-earth values and similar bromides designed to entice the more gullible ones into voting Republican. But the balance is shifting towards the "station sharpshooters with night-vision scopes on the border to pick 'em off" school of thought. Even apolitical and 100 percent U.S. citizen Hispanics are being repelled in droves.
