Wayne, you really have to think before you post something like this. You give the other side ammo. This doesn't help truthwinsout.org. If you want to have credibility, please watch what you post and how you say it. It makes us all look like flaming queens. Just my two cents. Keep up the good work.

Yes - lighten up. I did think before I posted it and found it quite funny. In fact, I thought about it some more....and I'd post it again and again....and again.

One stereotype of gay people is a flaming queen, as you suggested. But another is of an uptight, PC priss who ruins the fun. I'm not sure replacing this video with the image you suggest is any more helpful to the cause. In fact, it makes gay people seem less likable and rather unpleasant to be around. This hardly advances our rights.

It also indicates a certain bigotry within the gay population. We are a part of a vast community of differing personalities, but it seems that some within the community would just like to push the more flagarent among us back out of the spotlight. If we aren't on the butch side we don't fit into this new world of gay people trying to pass. Yes, it is important to let the heterosexual community know that we are just like they are, but not at the expense of people who are just being themselves and having fun doing it. Gay people are doctors, lawyers, construction workers, race car drivers, bikers. Gay people have children. Gay people have committed monogamous relationships. Gay people are also flaming queens, moderately effeminate, barely effeminate, and totally butch. We all have a place in the community.
