What a beautiful voice that little boy has. And what a cool country (Holland?) that has a show like this for kids! My younger kids watched the video with me and really enjoyed it so thanks for posting it!
That was beautiful...obviously this handsome boy is getting musical training and that takes a lot of care and discipline. He looks healthy and well cared for and he loves his dads...I know plenty of children in foster care here whose parents aren't dead...they just don't give a shit.
Two dads, or two moms...one of each....love is really all that matters to produce a wonderful boy like this!

It is indeed a Dutch song; the children singing it are members of arguably the most popular kids singing group in our country. As always, their show is broadcast on national television at prime time.

Positive reinforcement that having two dads who love you is a good thing. These children are learning a valuable lesson. Respect for other people who are doing good (caring for a child) in their society.

You'd never see that on prime time in this country--the USA is so backwards in some ways.

And if you think this is the norm in Dutch TV ... i'm dying and cracking up. Foeke is a fool. The norm in Dutch TV is tired old reruns of The Dukes of Hazzard with Dutch subtitles.

Foeke is entirely right. This show has been running since the early 1980s and is always broadcast on prime time.
It would be a charicature to say, however, that this is the norm on Dutch tv. Indeed, reruns of the Dukes of Hazard with Dutch subtitles appear quite regularly too. In short, Dutch tv is just as good (or just as bad) as American tv.
Just culture is different though, in some ways. And this great performance illlustrates that well...
