Noonan posted a retraction on this. Your posting is not correct, you should correct it. I'm a gay man voting McCain/Palin because they are what's best for the country. The fact is, Obama believes the federal government should tell others how to manage their communities, while McCain thinks the fed should stay out. In th elong run, that will be much more gay-friendly.

So why does the GOP platform includes calls for 2 new Federal constitutional amendments: one to ban same-sex marriage, and another to ban abortion? Shouldn't these matters be left to the states?

Doesn't matter. Everyone now knows Wayne's a fraud and a hypocrite.
People on this blog have directed far more insults, sarcasm, and profanity at me, and Wayne allows it. Banning me while allowing Ewe, Robert, and Priya Lynn to say the things they've said WITHOUT any argument is laughable.
I appreciate Ben calling Wayne out, but he sadly didn't follow through and ended up letting Wayne off the hook. Ben, I normally disagree with you, but I appreciate you telling Wayne he's wrong. But you should have held strong. This is wrong. And you know that Wayne's reasons and excuses for banning me are completely BS.
As an aside, I would have no problem with Wayne deleting my comments or banning me were I in violation of a clearly established standard of conduct for comboxs. But Wayne is simply deleting those comments that differ from him and his worldview, or call him out, and he allows those who agree with him to say whatever they like.
No worries. I'll make sure this gets around the net.
